5 Great Animated Props for Halloween 2014

Although things are still quiet over in the UK, halloween 2014 animated prop werewolstores in the US are already putting our their wares for Halloween 2014.

I’ve already seen photos of things that have been spotted on store shelves, but so far the online Halloween retailers have got the most on offer.

I took a look at the Spirit Halloween site this morning and was very excited by what I saw. They have some excellent new products in for Halloween 2014 and some of the animated props are just, well, terrifying!

So here’s a list of the 5 most eye catching props that they have on offer right now. And if you see something you like but don’t live in the US, you might want to order things early to ensure that they arrive on time.

5 Great Animated Props for Halloween 2014

Possessed Baby

possessed baby halloween prop
A few months back, a video went viral on the web, showing a possessed baby terrorising the citizens of New York from its pram.
Inspired by this, the possessed baby Halloween prop came into being and is set to be a big hit for Halloween 2014.

The pram doesn’t move on it’s own, but once activated, the baby makes cute sounds to entice in its victims. When they are close enough, it shoots upright to reveal a mesacing face and some demonic sounds.

Broken Spine Girl Animated Decoration

broken spine girl
Probably the most haunting animated prop from this selection, ‘Broken Spine Girl’ is creepy enough to give you nightmares!

Muttering away in a corner it would be easy to assume that this prop really is a confused person talking to herself.
But if you approach to console her, you’re in for a nasty surprise as her upper body snaps back to reveal her ghastly, screaming face and glowing eyes.

If you’re after a prop that’s the sort of quality that you’d see at a scare attraction, this is definitely worth considering.

Price: $199.99

Pop-Up Werewolf

werewolf
This mains powered werewolf prop is definitely going to cause some scares.

At first appearing to be a broken door or box, this decoration is likely to attract the inquisitive types to investigate. It’s unlike that they’ll expect what happens next though as a motion sensing werewolf leaps out at speed from the top, snarling and gazing with his hellish red eyes.

What most impressed us with this guy was how fast it shoots out. For years animated props have been slow and robotic, but this fast furry fiend is destined to frighten!

Price: $149.99

Electrocuted Man with Box Animated Decoration

If you’re after a truly electrifying Halloween prop, then this is definitely it.
Similar to the Broken Spine Girl, this life-seized prop is built to look as real as possible in order to Maximise the shock value.
This prop is a little different to the rest in that it isn’t motion controlled (needing an unsuspecting victim to unwittingly trigger it by approaching). This time round, there is a control panel for the curious visitor to use. As if they’re being handed the controls so that they can electrify someone (which is a little weird, but scary nonetheless).

Once the button is pressed the figure is seemingly electrified and its skull can be seeing flashing through the hood on its head.

Price: $199.99

Pop-Up Zombie Toilet

Bathrooms are usually a good place to seek refuge on Halloween. When the party is going on, going to ‘freshen up’ usually gives you a chance to cool down, and maybe touch up that Halloween makeup.
But if your host has installed one of these toilets, rest is the last thing you’re going to have. Because upon approaching this loo, a zombie’s head bursts up through the seat with glowing red eyes and gurgling away like he’s been down there a long time waiting just for you!

In some ways, this prop isn’t quite as great looking as the rest, but in the right setting (like the scene in the video below) it could be really effective and leave any victim feeling the need to visit a real toilet very soon afterwards.

    Hey Ryan,

Glad you liked her. There is so much on offer at SpiritHalloween that it would be hard to pick just one item. Then it’s where to store it all after the fun is over.
I guess you could just keep her there all year round to constantly freak out your guests! πŸ™‚

damn i wish halloween was more involved in over here america get some pretty amazing props but shipping over here especially from spirit is more scary then the props they sell

spirit should do an EU store for halloween period i reckon it would make a profit after a year or two

lets be honest they only need a warehouse somewhere

  8. joe August 14, 2014 at 12:41 am

Malcolm I agree with you i think they are planning to do on in the uk but if not and when i get enough money i might make my own Halloween store in the uk

Their was a direct response here:

Thanks for taking the time to contact me regarding seasonal stock,

I am aware the Halloween stock will be available around mid September time and mid October time for the fireworks. Unfortunately we wouldn’t have any images or information regarding as to what stock/brand we would be getting in stores and online.

Like mr halloween said next month – looking forward to it my self πŸ™‚

If you buy from spirit halloween, the shipping is more than the items! We tried to order some stuff once, and although the decorations cost $350, the shipping cost $480! Not worth it.
I have to say that I am not expecting much from Asda. They have been disappointing the last few years. The stock seems to be put out later and later.
    Fingers crossed for this year.

Can you please tell me what power supply the “Electrocuted Man with Box Animated Decoration.” Uses?

Bought one used and doesn’t have power supply.

    Thank you for your time.
