Halloween Treats from Cybercandy

Given the popularity of Halloween in the US, it’s no surprise that they have a wide choice of great Halloween treats at this time of year.

They problem is that, save a few exceptions, it’s not the same in the UK. So what we need is a way to get those nice Halloween treats from the US over here without having to pay for shipping…
Thankfully there’s a company called Cybercandy that can do all that shipping for you.

Cybercandy has 6 stores across the UK (as well as an online store) and each of them is packed full with treats from the UK, the US and beyond. And there’s a whole host of Halloween themed treats to choose from.

Halloween Treats

Candy corn

If you know anything about traditional American Halloween treats, then you’ll have heard of Candy Corn. Dating back to the 1880′s, it’s surprising that this sweet treat has never had much of an impact over here. That could of course be something to do with the fact that no-one was selling it in the UK (until now).
Cybercandy sells them in 1oz bags which is the perfect size for a taster. Who knows, you might find yourself going back for more (and more).

Candy Cane All Natural Pumpkin Pie

Remember when candy canes were reserved for Christmas? Well no more, because you can now buy these delicious looking crook shaped, pumpkin flavoured treats.
And instead of hanging them from a Christmas tree (that would be odd), why not find a suitable ribcage or a witches nose to fit the purpose?

Hershey’s Kisses Pumpkin Spice

Hershey’s chocolate is kind of a big thing in the US. You may have tasted it yourself when someone went to New York and brought a bag back. You know, it’s that stuff that has a weird taste to it – kinda powdery.
Anyway, I for one have grown to like the Hersheys flavour so I’m looking forward to trying out this ‘pumpkin spice’ variety.
This special edition Halloween treat has a pumpkin shell with a creamy cinnamon centre. With 10oz of chocolate in each pack there’s more than enough for you to share around, although it’s unlikely that you’ll want to.

Halloween Pez Dispensers

Remember Pez? Well they’re still around! Not only are they still busy making sweetie dispensers modelled on our favourite characters, but they’re also making an extra special effort this Halloween.
These limited edition Halloween headed Pez dispensers are sure to prove popular with the little ones. And no doubt it’ll make you feel all nostalgic about the ‘good old days’ too. Best of all, you can frustrate needy trick or treaters by only issuing your treats with your Halloween Pez: “One each now children. Don’t eat it all at once” etc.

Pop Rocks Pumpkin Patch Orange

Sticking to the retro theme, we bring you Pop Rocks. Yup, they still make these too!
They taste good and are fun to eat, though they’re probably not so good for your teeth and aren’t a wise choice if you’re hoping to lurk in the shadows and play Halloween pranks on people (victims will hear you crackling from meters away).
They would be a great addition to any lucky dip or you could even get creative with your cooking and add them to a recipe for added pop (pop rocks coated cupcakes anyone?).

Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin

Okay, so Reese’s Pieces aren’t exactly a new thing to you UK. It’s more than likely that you’ve already tried this snack which combines (arguably) the best two flavours known to man – peanut butter and chocolate.
This time though, they’ve gotten into the spirit of things with a custom made pumpkin shaped treat. Whatever you do, don’t try to stick a candle in it.

Trick or Treat Bag

Finally, if you can’t decide between the above sweets trick or treat bag halloween treats(and the many other Halloween treats available on Cybercandy) then a trick or treat bag is a no brainer.

There are four types to choose from, each containing a medley of some of the following:
Candy Corn, Mellocreme Pumpkins, Brach’s Jelly Nougat, Sathers Candy Corn, Goetze Caramel Cremes, Jolly Ranchers, Tootsie Midgees, Squirrel Nut Zippers, marshmallow peanuts, spice gums, good n plenty, wonka runts, pumpkin peeps, pop rocks and other Halloween themed treats.

The prices range from £4.99 to £7.99 a bag and best of all, you get the bag itself, which is perfect to use for some trick or treating – right after you’ve emptied the bag into your swollen belly.

So whether you’re a homesick American looking for comfort or a UK resident who wants to see how the other half (on the other side of the Atlantic that is) lives, Cybercandy (www.cybercandy.co.uk) has a whole heap of Halloween treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
