It seems like every theme park and attraction put on a Halloween event of somesort nowadays, which is a great thing. However, some parks aim to terrify their guests, luring in teenage and adult audiences looking for thrills.
But the Chessington World of Adventures Halloween 2015 experience looks to be far more focussed on the family, meaning that you can take the younger members of your family and not have to worry about petrifying them.
Chessington World of Adventures Halloween 2015
From 23rd October to 2nd November, ‘Howl’o’ween’ will be taking place at Chessington World of Adventures resort.
The whole park will be transformed into a creepy, cobweb covered carnival and there’ll be jumps and goosebumps around every corner.
In addition to the usual rides the evil geniuses behind this Chessington takeover will also be introducing some special Halloween attractions.
Those feeling brave can take on the Curse of the Lost Tomb, a spine chilling maze filled with mystery and spooky surprises. And younger explorers can take on Trick or Treat Wood to get a taste of the fun.
Vampire: Haunting in the Hollows
Guests will also see the return of Vampire: Haunting in the Hollows, a bloodcurdling walkthrough that has enough excitement to make even braver participants go batty. Here you’ll be transported back to 1897 in the haunted village of Black Hollow, a place filled with frights and using live actors to give you a really nail-biting experience.
As the park will be open later (until 8pm) visitors will be able to experience the Chessington rides (including the Vampire) in the dark, which is a thrill in itself. There will also be a spooky animal show and plenty more to keep you entertained, with a total of 40 rides and attractions in 10 themed lands and plenty of characters to meet along the way.
