We thought we’d ask her for some quick last 
minute tips that could come in handy for those of you attempting something ambitious with makeup this Halloween.
We asked SFX makup guru Laura to give us 5 top tips for extreme makeup artistry…
5 Essential Extreme Halloween Makeup Tips
1. Use the right products
If you are going to start makeup artistry make sure you get the best products to give you the amazing effects you want to achieve! The makes I use are Snazaroo, Mehron Makeup and Ben Nye.
Practice makes perfect
If you don’t get it right the first time just practice and I guarantee you will receive those gruesome looks you are aiming for.
Try something original
Use your imagination when it comes to your looks, try something a little different to make you stand out from the crowd.
Use inspiration
Do the looks you love from what inspires you, it can be anything. Films, TV shows, music, scenery and other makeup artists.
Don’t give up
If it’s something you love to do, never give up. You never know where your passion can take you!

I use Sigma brushes
Do you use certain brands of makeup?

Do you have any great sfx makup cheats/hacks?
Use contact lenses to emphasise the look you are going for.
Also, you can use toilet roll when making scars, simply by applying them with liquid latex on the area of skin you want to create.
Is there any particular look that’s very easy to create?
A skull look is pretty easy to recreate, I will be creating a tutorial look for this soon on my YouTube Channel, stay tuned!
