Asda to stock its Halloween 2010 goodies… In a couple of weeks!?!

asda logo It’s official, Asda aren’t quite ready to put their Halloween stock out on the shelves yet. Pretty poor show considering that M&S have had their stuff out for some time now. I can only hope it’s because there is a load of great stuff planned.

I’m pretty sure that Asda put out last years stuff on or around the 22nd September, but when I spoke to a branch yesterday, I was told that they’re not due to be displayed for a couple of weeks yet.
A bit disappointing, but ultimately something more to look forward to I suppose!

HOWEVER!
They do already have a whole bunch of Halloween costumes and a few other bits (pumkin growing kit, toy cauldron etc) available on Asda Direct. I’m guessing that this is pretty much what we can expect to appear on the shelves in store as far as halloween costumes are concerned.

So far, I like the dogs witch costume (kind of looks like a witch that had a spell backfire on them).asda halloween dog costume

There are loads of costumes for humans in there too, so it’s definitely worth a look. No doubt there will be a lot of fancy dress parties again this year with Halloween falling on the weekend.

I’ll keep you posted on a more exact date for the stock and will also try to get dates for other good retailers, although a lot of this will depend on whether or not I happen to go into a branch and see Halloween products on the shelves! 🙂

    Hi,
Asda are usually quite prompt in putting their stuff out, but my local stores are not even clearing shelf space.
Their loss, I spend a lot on halloween, and my budget will be gone by the time they get their act together. I bet they will have their christmas range out with months to go.
Great site, thanks for the information

I went into a local Co-Op the other day and although they didn’t have any Halloween stuff, they were selling chocolate snow men!

    It’s SEPTEMBER!

    Hi,
I emailed Asda Customer Services at the beginning of this month re their Halloween stock dates & received this reply:

“I have checked with our buying team and we will start introducing Halloween items from Friday 3 September, this will be online only. In our ASDA Living stores they will be instore from 18 September and in the rest of our stores will be the week after”

    Cant wait 🙂

Has an ask around about Halloween stock and was told that Tesco would be starting up stocking very soon. Have not noticed large amounts in local Tesco stores, but Tesco’s website has a section dedicated to Halloween and all sorts of fun bits and pieces. Link below:
