Here’s a tasty little snack to nibble on. Fortunately no bats are actually hurt in the perparation of this meal.
10 minutes to prepare and 45 minutes to cook.
You will need:
– 4-6 wings per person
– 4 cups of vegetable oil
– 4 tble sp butter or margarine
– 4 tablespoons of Tabasco sauce
– 1 table of white wine vinegar
– Freshly ground black pepper
– A pinch of salt
Remove the tip of the chicken (Bat!) wings and discard, and then cut wings in half. Sprinkle with some ground black pepper and salt.
Heat the oil until it starts to sizzle, then add 8-10 wings to the oil and cook until they are golden and crisp. When cooked, remove and drain on some kitchen paper.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a heavy bottom saucepan, add the Tabasco and white wine vinegar and stir until well combined.
Place the cooked chicken wings onto a Halloween serving plate and drizzle with the spicy sauce.
Enjoy!
