Spooky Halloween contact lenses

Halloween contact lenses. Whatever next?!

It may seem like a bit of a silly idea, and if you don’t already use contact lenses, the idea of touching our own eyeball to put them in might freak you out a bit. However, a site based in the US called Lens.com have put together an amazing collection of different lenses to go with different constumes, occassions and moods (I guess).

Our Favourite Halloween contact lenses

How cool would you look at that Halloween party with totally blacked out eyes like the vampires in 30 Days of Night?
Perhaps you want to make your zombie outfit look horrifyingly convincing?
Or maybe you just want to surprise people with something a bit more decorative.

There are even a few very nasty ones that make it look like your eyeball is a sharp set of teeth – very different.

The prices are very competetive (around $30 for a set) and best of all, you can even order them to suit any prescription that you may have. So you can look scary and see clearly at the same time!

They even ship to the UK, but you should allow plenty of time for them to arrive. In short, if you want to use these cool Halloween contact lenses this year, you’d better order them soon to avoid disappointment.

If you are a little put off by the fact that you have to order them from the US, I’ll keep an eye (ha ha) out for similar UK Halloween contact lenses sellers and be sure to tell you about them.

I’m very tempted by these, but really don’t like the eyeball touching thing. What if slips around the back or something?!
This is what has put me off nomal contact lenses…

don’t worrie too much about the lenses slipping to the back. lol i’ve been wearing contacts for about 10 years now, even fall asleep with them somtimes ( not a good idea since your eyes feel like they have sand in them the next morning..lol) but even then they haven’t moved from my eyeball. ( i wear soft lenses, the bigger ones). ( it’s more annoying the first few weeks that as soon as your finger comes close to your face you automatically close your eyes…lol)

they sell the lenses in some party supplies stores and stores that sell normal glasses and contacts as well here in the netherlands.
maby that’s in the uk as well.
